Canada Day boat decorating contest and flotilla - Saturday July 4th, 2026 (rain date July 5th). Meet at the Duck Lake docks for 2pm for the judging and awarding of prizes. Followed by the parade of boats around Duck Lake and Pigeon Bay.
Saturday July 25th, 2026, 2 - 7pm, eat around 5ish (rain date Sunday July 26th noon - 5ish, eat around 3 pm) . Held this year at Dave and Ellen Hutchings' cottage.

The directors have decided to hold the boat decorating contest and flotilla on Saturday June 4th, 2026.
Remember your decorating theme is up to you, it DOES NOT have to be Canada Day inspired. The more creative the better. Remember you are competing for some great prizes!
Mustering time near the Duck Lake public docks will be 2:00 p.m. for the judging, followed by our parade of boats around Duck Lake and Pigeon Bay.
Every summer (except the first year of Covid , 2020) the DLCA has a picnic on the Saturday before the long weekend in August. ALL Duck Lake residents are invited to join in on the fun. We connect and reconnect with our Duck Lake neighbors, play games and eat way too much.
The 2026 Summerfest Picnic is scheduled for Saturday July 25, 2-7pm, eat at 5-ish. Rain date July 26, noon to 5-ish.
Location: Dave & Ellen Hutchings cottage. They are located at 56 Duck Lake Road EMS# 684D. They are accessible by road and by water (through the narrows heading into Pigeon Bay).
Bring: Lawn chairs, swimwear, and a dish to share (salad or dessert). Cold drinks and BBQ options will be supplied. BYOB

This year's Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday August 1st at the cottage property of Evann and Lisa Seney - 1 Bourbonnais Island.
