Annual Boat Decorating & Flotilla Information
Since Canada Day falls on a Tuesday this year, the directors have decided to hold the boat decorating contest and flotilla on Saturday June 28th, 2025. Hopefully this will allow many cottagers to be able to participate.
Remember your decorating theme is up to you, it does not have to be Canada Day inspired. The more creative the better. Remember you are competing for some great prizes!
Mustering time near the Duck Lake public docks will be 2:00 p.m. for the judging, followed by our parade of boats around Duck Lake and Pigeon Bay.

Every summer (except the first year of Covid , 2020) the DLCA has a picnic on the Saturday before the long weekend in August. ALL Duck Lake residents are invited to join in on the fun. We connect and reconnect with our Duck Lake neighbors, play games and eat way too much.
The 2025 Summerfest Picnic is scheduled for Saturday July 26, 2-7pm, eat at 5-ish. Rain date July 27, noon to 5-ish.
Location: Frogheart's Howl, the cottage of Deborah Hart & Tom Howell. We are located in the back of Kelsey's Bay beside the Mud Lake Falls. We will have the water trampoline and launcher in, and feel free to bring your non-motorized water craft if you wish (i.e. peddle boats, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. )
Bring: Lawn chairs, swimwear, and a dish to share (salad or dessert). Cold drinks and BBQ options will be supplied. BYOB
